Special Olympics Bocce Ball

This past Saturday, Harbor School’s Bocce Ball teams competed at the New Jersey Special Olympics. While the weather was a bit chilly, our athletes were red hot! They took home a gold, 3 silvers and a bronze.

Brittney & Andrew: Gold

Emily & Nicky: Silver

Sam & Andrew: Silver

Xaiver & Tyler: Silver

Zach & Kyle: Bronze

Thank you to Miss Jenn Bogin (Harbor’s APE Teacher), Miss Liz (Harbor assistant) and Miss Briana (Harbor assistant) for coaching this years group of athletes.

Also, thank you to the parents for driving the athletes to the sports complex.

We would also like to thank the New Jersey Special Olympics for such a wonderful organization that gives our special athletes a platform to shine in.

Congratulations to all the athletes and their families.
