EXECUTIVE ADMINISTRATION
Anne Gunteski has been with the RKS Group for almost 20 years. She has worked both at Harbor and Alpha Schools in many capacities. Five years were spent in the classroom and as a Music Teacher and 14 years as an Administrator. Presently Ms. Gunteski serves as the Executive Director of the Harbor School. Before coming to RKS, Ms. Gunteski spent 4 years working for the New York City Board of Education as a Special Education Teacher. She holds a Bachelors Degree in Music Education from Marywood College, Scranton PA, along with a Master of Science in Special Education, with a minor in Emotional Disturbance, from Fordham University Graduate School, New York, NY. In addition, Ms. Gunteski continued her education at Georgian Court College where she earned a Supervisor's and Principal's certification. She holds certifications from the New Jersey Department of Education as a Music Teacher K-12, Teacher of the Handicapped, Supervisor and Principal. Ms. Gunteski's commitment to her students is an example to all. She believes children should be taught to reach their full potential.
Maureen Banias has been the Assistant Principal of the Harbor School for 5 years. She has committed the last 18 years to serving childrens' needs. Ms. Banias spent 13 years teaching in both public and private schools, and has taught at Alpha School. Her education includes a Bachelor's degree from Jersey City State College in Special Education, with a minor in Psychology/Sociology. She received her Masters degree at Georgian Court College with a Major in Administration, Supervision, and Curriculum Planning. Ms. Banias is certified by The State of New Jersey and holds certificates as Principal, Supervisor, Teacher of the Handicapped, Elementary School Teacher, and Nursery School Teacher.
