Harbor School once again hosted our sister schools, Gateway and Alpha to their annual High School Valentine’s Day Dance. The gym was decorated by the Harbor staff with red tablecloths, hearts and “love bugs” made by the students during their art classes. There was even a water bottle heart display!
Students love to see their friends from the other schools at these events and it gives them a chance to socialize with students from the other schools which they don’t see often.
The students from all three schools danced all morning to music provided by DJ Charlie from AJ/DJ Entertainment and chowed down on salad and pizza from Ruffinos’s Pizzeria and cake for dessert.
Once Alpha and Gateway left, it was time for the elementary classes to dance the afternoon away. Thank you to DJ Charlie for staying to provide the music for our younger classes as well. Students had chips, cookies and juice to munch on between dancing.
Thank you to Ruffino’s Pizzeria and DJ Charlie for helping make our students Valentine’s Day so special. We would also like to thank the wonderful staff from Harbor School for making the day a success.
