The rain didn’t dampen the students enthusiasm from having an exciting Field Day in the gym at Harbor School.
Miss Jenn, our APE teacher, set the gym up this morning with all the events for the day. With the colorful equipment and fun activities, students and staff weaved their way through all the stations, spending 5 minutes at each event. The gym was hopping with laughter and fun shrieks as students “competed” with their friends, while the Eatontown Police Department were outside grilling up some hamburgers, cheeseburgers and hot dogs. Our PTA was downstairs in the kitchen organizing the condiments, salads, fruit and desserts.
With so many variables in motion for a day like today, there are so many people to thank who made this day a success for our students.
THANK YOU to the Harbor School PTA for always organizing the picnic, even in doors.
THANK YOU to the Eatontown Police Department, who for the last few years, has brought a big grill and barbecued for all the students and staff.
THANK YOU to the parents that sent in desserts, chips and fruit for everyone.
THANK YOU to Miss Jenn for organizing field day so it would run as smoothly as possible.
Last but never least, THANK YOU to the staff for everything they do especially on days like this where the students are amped up and excited.
