Rumson Country Day School Student Donation

For the past 12 years or so some select students from the Rumson Country Day School (RCDS) have visited Harbor School twice a month to spend time with our students through their Service Learning Program.  The RCDS students are assigned different classrooms to visit during the lunch/leisure periods.

The Harbor High School students look forward to these visits as a way of meeting new kids their age and being able to talk to them about different topics such as movies, TV, books, etc.

The younger classes like to take out games to play or drawing with art supplies with the RCDS students.  Towards the end of the visits, there is sometimes a game of balloon volleyball, Knock em Down or some type of fun game organized by our APE teacher Ms. Jenn, where the students from both schools have to work together on teams.

One of the students at RCDS recently donated a volleyball court for the adaptive physical education department and students.  We are so grateful for this generous donation as it is the perfect way to start off the summer extended school year.

We cherish our relationship with RCDS and look forward to continuing it for the 2018-2019 school year.
