Harbor School held student elections this past fall for a new president and vice president. We would like to congratulate Emily L. for becoming Harbor’s School Student President! (Andrew D. is her vice president.)
Students Shiv and Xaiver, along with their speech therapist Ms. Teri, took a break from their usual “Getting to know…our teachers” segments to interviewing Emily.
Xaiver: Why did you want to be school president?
Emily: I like to do things. I like to help the school and find ways to improve school.
Shiv: What are you going to do while being president?
Emily: Activities should be held on the main floor for students with walkers and wheelchairs.
Xaiver: What do you like about Harbor School?
Emily: There’s lots of nice friends and people. Teachers that you can trust.
“There aren’t any bullies at Harbor School.”
Xaiver: What activities are you involved in at Harbor?
Emily: Tonebells, handbells, voice, chorus and captain of the cheerleaders.
Shiv: What do you like to do when you are at home?
Emily: Chill on my laptop, play video games, and watch YouTube videos. I also like to hang out with my friends and boyfriend.
Shiv: How long have you been at Harbor?
Emily: 6 1/2 years.
Thank you Emily for letting us get to know you better!
We can’t wait to see what you do for the students at Harbor!
