Harbor School Students Create Their Own World Cup Day

The World Cup wasn’t only happening in Russia this summer! Students in the Harbor School, a private special education school for students with disabilities, 240 Broad Street, Eatontown, N.J., participated in their own World Cup Day, linking world events with physical activities in their school.

Jenn Bogin, the adaptive physical education (APE) and health teacher at Harbor School and the staff planned the World Cup event, with each class responsible for selecting a country to represent and making that country’s flag.

Students learned fun facts about the country their class had chosen, including France, Croatia, Peru, Great Britain, Lichtenstein, USA, Kosovo, Portugal, Mexico, and Italy.
