Getting to Know Our Staff featuring……. Mrs. Redmond
Billy and Terri, two of our High School students in Mrs. D’Agostino’s class interviewed teacher, Mrs. Redmond.
Terri: What made you become a teacher?
Mrs. Redmond: When I was in high school, I worked at Jersey City State as a camp counselor. It was called “Camp Gothic”. I worked with special needs children and realized that was what I wanted to do.
Billy: How long have you been teaching?
Mrs. Redmond: 24 years altogether. 6 at Jersey City and 18 at Harbor.
Terri: Are you married?
Mrs. Redmond: Yes. Next week, March 15th will be 20 years.
Billy: What is the best part of being a teacher?
Mrs. Redmond: Seeing the progression of my students through the school year.
Terri: Where did you go to college?
Mrs. Redmond: Jersey City State College
Billy: How many children do you have?
Mrs. Redmond: 1 son
Terri: What is your favorite TV show?
Mrs. Redmond: Homeland and House of Cards
Billy: What is your favorite movie?
Mrs. Redmond: Dirty Dancing
Terri: What are your hobbies?
Mrs. Redmond: I love to binge watch different shows on Netflix. I also enjoy shopping.
Billy: What was your favorite subject in school?
Mrs. Redmond: I liked English.
Terri: Where did you go grow up?
Mrs. Redmond: Jersey City
Billy: What is your favorite food?
Mrs. Redmond: Wow! I have so many! Spaghetti and meatballs, pizza, salmon, etc.
