9-11 Annual USA Picture and Walkathon

Today, September 11, all the staff and students gathered in the parking lot to take our Annual USA Picture. Harbor School started this tradition in 2002, the year after the attacks, and has been going for 15 years.  We sell these pictures for $1.00 on Back to School Night.

In addition to the picture, each class participates in our 9-11 Walkathon, walking around a sectioned off part of the parking lot.  Each student and staff count how many times laps they did which is then tallied up and added to the rest of the school.  We find out who walked the most and which class had the most laps at our September Student of the Month where the winners receive a certificate.
